Hurricane Matthew ( my experience )

It all started one hot and humid afternoon when my son’s had a soccer game. This day happens to be a good one, for the simple fact that I’ve been on a roll with my dieting and already ran my three miles for the day. However our trips to the soccer field have never been my favorite. Real quick, I’ll explain why! This is my sons first year playing soccer and the coach they were punished with is this little college girl who could careless about the children! She doesn’t practice with them, or even pay attention while the game is going! So much to be said! but I won’t go there. As usual, I’m recording their game and a parent says to me

Parent: hey, where are you guys going for the hurricane? Me: Hurricane? what hurricane?!

Anyways, I basically found out about the hurricane right there on the spot!

ME: I’m not going nowhere! Parent: really? Savannah, Florida and S. Carolina have already started evacuating! ME: What? no way!!! are you serous? Parent: Yeah! I think you might want to leave town to be on the safe side! ME: ( thoughts ) Gosh, mother of fungus frog eye snake butt poop head burnt chicken nuggets!!!!!! I just lost half a pound…..:( 

So off we go! after the game, my son’s and I pack and prepare to head out. As a precaution I stop at wall Mart to pick up some water and jerky. walking though the door of wall mart was a surprise, shock & WTF! I thought black friday wasn’t till next month! As we make our way to the water, all you hear is this irritating amber alert sound coming from every ones phone, including mine:( Any how we end up leaving empty-handed because there was too much caos  and no water, LOL.

Next day I wake up like damn this is for Real, and I’m not really in the mood, and on top of that my sons don’t have school for like ever!!!! After preparing, and packing the car with shotguns and zombie knifes we are ready to head out first thing in the morning! Knock! knock! who’s there? random people!!!! LOL naw, just a friend that had t leave their home and traveled up my way to travel with us!! YIKES not my cup of tea, but as a good friend I have to help…So! my friend has a girlfriend, who has a baby, that has a brother, that has a brother, that has a mother, that is the ex of my friend!! SAY WHAT!!! check this out!!!

MY FRIEND, HIS GIRLFRIEND, THERE NEW BORN, 6 YEAR OLD BOY FROM GIRLFRIENDS PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP, 7 YEAR OLD BOY FROM MY FRIENDS PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP, THE 7 YEAR OLD BOYS MOM WHICH IS THE EX. OF MY FRIEND!!!!!!!

Hold up!! I invited him not knowing that all this was attached!!But it’s all good! He’s awesome guy! We are not going to get into details about the group tho. So everybody spends the night at my house. Next morning I’ first to wake, and attempt to wake up everyone which was not the easiest because the adults got drunk and the kids stayed up all night! PLEASE DONT SAY ANYTHING!! I KNOW!! huh! Off we finally make it, a forever drive to Atlanta, Georgia with the all of us! as we come closer to our destination  we realize that we most likely are going to be sleeping in the car because there are no hotels what soever! long drive and hotel search short! I finally find the most awesomeness people on Airbnb, and they free of charge lay my sons and I up in a room! The group with my friend finds a hotel up towards Tennessee, Yikes keep driving buddy.

So mini vacation and 1500 dollars later we are told the roads are opening back up, and we may be allowed back home! Off we make that crazy drive back home, stuck in traffic! Finally My son’s and I arrive and my friend and I part ways. Now I get the saying home sweet home!

Hurricane Matthew really bites!! other than my trash can tipped over, shed room ripped off, trash and flooding, broken trees everywhere, no wifi for a week, throwing away all my food in the freezer and fridge every things great! Blessed that the house is still there, because I’m not sure if our insurance covers it, LOL

Screaming and Cussing at COPS

This was a copy and paste blog, however I copied my comment and pasted here because it was so long, lol. Anyways, I was checking my Facebook and again there was somebody posting a cop video! Now this one wasn’t anywhere near as bad as the ones you usually stumble across. The video however for some reason just triggered something in me. I just wanted to comment how horrible this was or is, but I just kept texting and texting and texting, so I copied and pasted it here.

So tired of watching the same thing over and over and over and over again!!!!! It’s a sick feeling when there’s really nothing you can do about it, except fear it happening to you or watch it! How can this be freedom? Captured and trapped, tortured and killed at the least expected moment in life!! Wake up with hopes and dreams that are crushed or stopped in its tracks because of the ignorance of one man! The worst part is there isn’t just one man, there’s a army of them badged and licensed to kill with a loaded firearm! This government, this system has to have a complete make over! How much longer can this go on? What wrong person has to be mistaken as a criminal and possibly kill before there’s a real change!! The government says they are working on it by spending millions of dollars on virtual simulations and video games for officers to play with!!!!!! Really? As if that’s any where near a real life situation!!!! Have the five year old kid that plays GTA go out and rob a real liquor store and see if they get away with it!!! Ummm, NO!!!! Why? Because it’s a game, no where near comparison with actual training!!! How about they simply use the internet which they do on a regular! To simply evaluate there applicants!!!! Omg!! Yeah that makes sense!!! Check out there social behaviors, search engine history, interest, things they hate or dislike!!! Duh!!! That could give a real fighting chance!!!! Anyways I’m rambling, and I’m sure no one will read this as a comment! However I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired of being sick of this cop BS and tired of watching, reading and hearing about what cop did what and who got killed for nothing!! There’s so much real crime going on!!!!!!!! Why is it that the cops don’t wake up and be all like, what drugs are being sold, who’s supplying them, where was that little girl last seen, who might know something, this area is high in crime let me drive around!! Errrrr. Stop the traffic violations!!!!! Stop killing people because the went five miles over the speed limit, stop pulling guns out on people driving to and from work!!! Just be a hero!!! I remember when I use to tell my sons to get a cop for help if something’s wrong!! Wave to the cops when you see them cause they protect us!!! Now I tell them don’t ever call cops!!! If something is wrong call me or your mom or any body else, because I’m scared they might get shot by mistake!!! I’m done!

Ever since phones with camera quality have hit the market, I’ve had one and like most people who are not photographers, STOPPED using their camera! Just recently my twin sons have been getting into acting as well as YouTube. As their father I’m inclined to assist them on there journeys though life and learn as much as possible about the things there passionate about. Lazy day struggle

Some days I find my self struggling to complete a simple task, or run a small errand. Those are the days where I wish I didn’t have a TV or a couch to sit on! Minutes than hours will pass me by, while my time is consumed of useless distraction such as, apps, games, YouTube, Hulu, redbox and so many other time Thieves. Finding a way to stay on track and focus is one of the most difficult things to do, especially when your having a lazy day! 

Not everyone is capable of accomplishing daily obligation just because they are required to be done! As for my self, I just simply leave the house  first thing when I wake! That seems to assist in killing the lazy bug for the day! I feel that by doing this, I’m obligated to prepare my appearance and move my body just enough to jolt my mind and body in the motions of a Productive day! The sun and lights also help me personally wake up. Anyhow, I thought I share because today was almost that lazy day on the couch:)find what gets you up and going!! A lazy day here and there is good, but not a productive day here or there. Make the most out of your time alive.
